This video had a brilliant effect on me-goosebumbs, teary eyes etc! Its an opportunity for me to share this website too. Take a look at www.missrepresentation.org if you haven't already and join the movement!
Here is a brilliant trailer of the movie Missrepresentation. I SO totally loved it and cannot wait to get the DVD and watch it. Who is making one for India?

Aarathi,
ReplyDeleteI am totally with you on this one. TOTALLY. At first, I could not kind of relate to the first video. I was like, "Okay...why are they trying to prove themselves so badly? Whom are they trying to convince?" It seemed like saying "Listen, women are not weak. Women are not weak"
However the second one totally won me over. The media is a key culprit to the skewed sex confidence today and something got to be done about it. However can such campaigns do much? I wonder.
You have got me thinking yet again. Thanks for the post!
Babe, I think you know how my reaction to this sort of thing is - It is absolutely kickass, it was the movie trailer that made me teary eyed and goose bumpy!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

ReplyDelete@ Sinduja: Thats interesting. Maybe because I had some background, but I really loved the first video. For me it demonstrated confidence and positiveness. Anywho..glad you like the video. think that campaigns like this work towards raising a lot of awareness and awareness, in my books go a long way.
