Guest Post: Simple Practices for the ordinary life

I was given the opportunity to write a review for a book that is literally changing my life. I am so thrilled that it was a guest post at the Ottawa Mindfulness Clinic.  Here is an excerpt.  For more, go on over to OMC's blog.

  1. Awesome re akka ! It's so important to be reminded to be mindful from time to time yaar and I don't know anyone else who can do it better than you :* My guruji used to keep saying that this practice of mindfulness is sooo deceptively simple that its actually impossible for people to appreciate it and adopt it because people expect really rewarding things to be complex and difficult and that's why this practice has remained such a secret although its right there out in the open.Check out my comment on the Ottawa blog also baby :-)

    1. Hi Appisa! Thanks yaars. I've also read about mindfulness practice being simple, but not easy. That's the distinction I suppose, what is simple is not necessarily easy :-) Will check out the comment on the OMC blog when it goes up :-)
